West Bend, IA (June 29, 2023) – For over 30 years, Country Maid, Inc., its network of dealerships, and their families have supported non-profit organizations through humanitarian events that take place during their annual Dealer Conference. Each year, Country Maid selects a different organization to support in order to “Share the Good” and spread goodwill to many cities across the United States.
This year, they furthered their mission of “Helping Others Help Each Other” at the conference, held in Des Moines, IA, by donating $2,000 and fleece blankets to Children & Families of Iowa. The fleece blankets, crafted with care and love, represent the collective effort and compassion of Country Maid and its network of dealers. By combining their expertise and resources, they hope to bring joy and comfort to those who need it most.
“Country Maid team members and our network of dealers share the same passion for ‘Helping Others Help Each Other’, and that is no exception during our annual Dealer Conference. We all came together to ‘Share the Good’ with Children & Families of Iowa and can’t thank them enough for their positive impact on the community,” explained Lynn Bouska, Vice President of Fundraising at Country Maid.
All donations will be used to help Children & Families of Iowa fulfill its mission of restoring hope, building futures, and changing lives for families and children in crisis. The monetary donation will help to cover the costs of various services offered by the organization, such as free shelter, clothing, food, and counseling. The blankets will be given to those in need of safety and comfort during difficult times.
